Museum

His winery museum is a box of surprises willing to offer its essences to any visitor. There is one popular art and archaeology museum and a wine museum. The latter one shows around 4,000 tools, machines, bibliography and old objects related to the art of making wine.

There is no doubt that the great wines from the South, Jerez (sherry), Marsala, Madeira and Pedro Ximenez, are special wines. This means that these wines have a soul. Their ageing occurs inside the wineries in calm, half-light, smells of old wood humidity ambiance, and, what is most important, there is a man behind it all, an important figure.

This is Toro Albalá reality, headed by a peculiar person, Antonio Sánchez, a great oenologist who has made wines for all the best wineries of Montilla-Moriles. He is a man full of curiosity and great knowledge. Among all his wines, Antonio Sánchez is especially proud of his PX, which borders on perfection, from the minor Don PX to the great Bacchus, 1939.
